Army Chief says Pakistan is fact, cannot be undone
We are a free nation just because the martyrs’ sacrifices
Kakul: Chief of Army Staff General Asim Muneer said that Pakistan came into being to stand out among the comity of nations, saying Pakistan is an accomplished fact and it cannot be undone.
Army chief was the chief guest of the special Azadi Parade ceremony, held at Military Academy (PMA) Kakul to mark the 78th Independence Day of Pakistan.
Addressing to parade General Asim said that today Pakistanis are living as free nation just because the martyrs’ sacrifices. "Unfortunately, the forces who have evil designs of extremism and extremism have surfaced in our country," he maintained and added, “We emerge as a strong nation after trial and tribulations. To weaken Pakistan's armed forces is tantamount to weakening the country itself."
The cadets of the Pakistan Military Academy presented a spectacular demonstration of their skills in the drill parade during the ceremony.
On this occasion, a special tribute was presented to the martyrs of the land.
