Paris: French President Emmanuel Macron was embarrassed while on a school visit when a girl asked him how he felt after being slapped.

According to French media, the French President has been visiting schools and restaurants to restore normalcy after the epidemic.
During one such visit, a young man slapped the president on the face after shaking hands ten days ago.
According to the French newspaper, the day before, when President Macron was visiting a school, during a live broadcast, the student asked, "Mr President, how are you? and how do you feel after being slapped?"
President Macron looked at the girl with a smile and replied, "I'm fine, but slapping someone is not fun and is not a good action."
It is never good to slap anyone like that, not even in the schoolyard. The one who slapped me was not right.
Earlier, French President Macron was slapped during a crowd walkabout. Two people were arrested after the French President was slapped by a man during a walkabout session with a crowd in southeastern France.
The incident took place while Macron was on a visit to the Drome region in south-eastern France, where he met restaurateurs and students to talk about how life is returning to normal after the COVID-19 epidemic.
A video that surfaced on social media shows a man in a green T-Shirt, with glasses and a face mask, shout out "Down with Macronia" and then deliver a slap to President’s face.
Macron's security staff quickly interfered to pull the man to the ground and move Macron away from him.
The presidential administration said there had been an attempt to strike Macron, but declined further comment.
