Teachers welcomed the beginning of the educational activities


Lahore, Karachi: The fun time is over, Independence Day has also been celebrated, and now is the time to study. After the summer holidays in Punjab and Sindh, educational activities have resumed in public and private schools.
As soon as the schools opened, there was a wave of happiness among the parents and students. The teachers welcomed the beginning of the educational activities.
Teachers encouraged the students with various activities on the first day after the holidays. The attendance on the first day is less than usual and the absent students are informed.
According to the notification of the education department, government schools in Punjab will open five days a week, Saturday and Sunday will be holidays. Male teachers will be in schools from Monday to Thursday from 8:00am to 3:00pm while female teachers will leave the school at 2:30pm.
In double-shift schools, the first shift will be from 8:00am to 2:30pm, the second shift will be from 1:00pm to 5:00pm, and schools will be open from 8:00am to 12:30pm on Friday.
In the province of Sindh, the educational institutions have opened today as the summer vacations are over.
Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah said that for the first time in the country, teacher license policy and other reforms were introduced in Sindh. The series of educational reforms will be continued in the province.
It is pertinent to note that earlier in Sindh, schools were supposed to reopen on August 1 after the summer vacations, but the Sindh Education Department had announced that it would extend the summer vacations till August 14 due to the extreme heat and the possibility of rain.
