Karan Johar launches ‘Yash Johar Foundation’ in memory of his father
Mumbai: Renowned Indian producer, director and host Karan Johar has launched the Yash Johar Foundation, in memory of his father.

According to details, the 49-year old took forward the legacy of his father with Dharma Productions and launched a foundation in the name of Yash Johar.
In a video posted on Instagram, he revealed that his father was always considerate of other people and did all he could to make the film industry a better working space.
He went on to say that his foundation will not only extend a helping hand to the workers of the industry with stability and a steady flow of resources but also assist those who have been badly hit by the pandemic.
He captioned his post as, “This has been a true labor of love… created in memory of my incredible father and to carry forward his legacy. I am proud to launch the Yash Johar Foundation, which has been set up with the aim to improve the quality of life for people in the Indian entertainment industry. While we have initiated the implementation of long-term sustainable plans that will enhance the lives of people and their families in the industry, we have also ensured that immediate solutions are being provided to help them deal with the effects of the on-going global pandemic.”
