Girl killed by her father, brother in the name of honour killing

According to local media, the girl was poisoned before being strangled to death by her own father and brother after they got to know that the victim had secretly married a man of her choice.

After getting information, police reached the site and started investigation process.

Following the preliminary investigation, police conducted raid at a house situated in the jurisdiction of Ahmad Nagar police station and apprehended the victim’s father and brother.

The suspects have confessed to their crime, revealed the police officials.
