Police said that 2 seriously injured are undergoing treatment in Diamar Hospital


Gilgit-Baltistan: Six laborers working on the Diamer Bhasha Dam were killed and three were seriously injured after a vehicle fell into a ditch at Diamer Thor on the Karakoram Highway in Gilgit-Baltistan.
According to the Diamar Police Control Room, the accident occurred when the dam workers were riding in a Mazda vehicle for work, while the driver lost control of the vehicle and it plunged into a deep ditch, resulting in the death of five workers and three others were injured.
Diamar Rescue confirmed that ambulances have been dispatched for the rescue operation.
They further said that the team had reached the accident site, and more details will be released later.
