New Toshakhana case: Imran, Bushra sent to jail for two weeks
Next hearing of the case will be held on September 2
Rawalpindi: The Accountability Court sent Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi to jail on 14-day judicial remand in the new Toshakhana reference.
Judge Nasir Javed Rana of Accountability Court Rawalpindi held a hearing on Toshakhana-II Bulgari jewelry reference. Lawyer Salman Safdar appeared with the team on behalf of defense lawyers. During the hearing, the remand report was presented to the court.
It has been stated in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) report that Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi gave a written statement. PTI founder wrote the statement with his hand while Bushra Bibi signed the written statement.
NAB did not ask for further remand of founder PTI and Bushra Bibi, while the court issued a judicial remand order of 14 days.
The next hearing of the case will be held on September 2. The 36-day remand of PTI founder and Bushra Bibi has been completed.
