Sajal Aly expresses concern over Harassment with veiled woman
Actress says she is losing faith in this country, and it’s frightening to see how common it has become for men to harass women and children
Karachi: Pakistani actress Sajal Aly has expressed deep concern over the harassment of a woman in the North Karachi area of the city.
Taking to social media, Sajal Aly shared a screenshot from the footage of the harassment incident, stating, "I am losing faith in this country, and it’s frightening to see how common it has become for men to harass women and children."
She further added, “I can't help but feel hopeless about the direction we are heading in,”.
It may be mentioned here that two days ago, a video went viral on the internet showing a man riding a motorcycle with a child harassing a hijab-wearing woman in broad daylight on a street before fleeing the scene.
The incident occurred on August 12, and as of the last reports, the police had not yet succeeded in arresting the perpetrator.
