Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expresses his unwavering confidence in the potential of the youth to transform Pakistan and build a brighter future for the nation, predicats on their innate talent, resilience, and determination

Islamabad: The Pakistan National Youth Convention 2024, was held in Islamabad from 20-21 August 2024 on Wednesday.
The final day's proceedings were graced by the presence of Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif as the Chief Guest, while General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), Chief of Army Staff (COAS), attended as the Guest of Honour.
In his keynote address, the Prime Minister underscored the government's multifaceted initiatives aimed at empowering the youth, encompassing education, skills development, and innovation-driven programs. He exhorted the youth to capitalize on these opportunities, emphasizing the paramount importance of entrepreneurship, critical thinking, and creativity in shaping Pakistan's future trajectory.
The Prime Minister expressed his unwavering confidence in the potential of the youth to transform Pakistan and build a brighter future for the nation, predicated on their innate talent, resilience, and determination.
COAS General Syed Asim Munir, in his remarks, stressed the imperative need for holistic youth development, encompassing engagement, education, and entertainment. He particularly highlighted the need for skill development, emphasizing that augmenting youth talent through enhanced educational and vocational training facilities is essential to equip them with the requisite skills for the 21st century.
Furthermore, COAS emphasized the significance of faith, unity, and discipline as foundational pillars for shaping the youth's future, while also underscoring the importance of character, courage, and competence as essential attributes for their development. He exhorted every Pakistani, particularly the youth, to be the harbinger of hope for a brighter future, while emphasizing their crucial role in national development, irrespective of gender, provided they channel their energies towards the right direction.
The convention featured interactive sessions, panel discussions, and a Q&A session, providing a platform for the youth to engage with key civil and military leadership and other distinguished personalities, fostering a spirit of collaboration, innovation, and collective progress.
