Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced a Rs10 million reward for arrest of the top dacoit in the Kacha region on Monday
The announcement aimed at arresting the most dangerous dacoits.
The Punjab Home department is expected to issue an official notification soon.
Besides it, the provincial government also announced rewards for others involved in serious crimes.
A Rs5 million bounty was set for particularly dangerous individuals, and a Rs2.5 million reward was set for third-category offenders.
The Punjab CM emphasized that those responsible for the deaths of police personnel will face justice. She pledged that law enforcement efforts against these criminals would be backed with the full support, ensuring accountability for those involved in acts of terror.
