Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi strongly condemned the incident of terrorism in Qalat


Qalat: 10 people, including police and Levies personnel, were killed in the firing of armed men in Qalat city of Balochistan.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Qalat Dostin Dashti, a police sub-inspector, four Levies officials and five civilians were killed in the firing.
According to SSP Kalat, the accused escaped after the firing, after which the area is being cleared.
The police said that there was an exchange of fire between the police and the armed people last night on the national highway in Qalat and in the city.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi strongly condemned the incident of terrorism in Qalat.
The Interior Minister paid homage to the police and Levies personnel who were martyred in the attack and expressed his sorrow over the martyrdom of five civilians.
Mohsin Naqvi expressed his heartfelt sympathy and condolence to the families of the martyred officers and citizens and said that the sacrifices of the martyrs will always be remembered. The enemy is plotting a heinous plot to create instability in the country.
He stated that with the strength of unity, they will defeat the nefarious intentions. Naqvi also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
It is pertinent to note that last night in Rara Sham area of Musakhel in Balochistan, 23 passengers were killed by armed persons. According to the police, all the persons were taken off the trucks and passenger buses and shot dead.
