Enraged visitors hold protest in Lahore, Faisalabad over shortage of Covid jabs
Lahore: Dozens of people are protesting in vaccination centers of Lahore and Faisalabad over shortage of Covid-19 vaccines.

In Lahore’s Expo Center, people intending to travel abroad staged protests against relevant authorities after being denied AstraZeneca jabs due to shortage of vaccine in the center.
Several people stormed the Hall no 3 of Expo Center and had a heated verbal exchange with the administration.
“We will not leave without getting AstraZeneca jabs. Our visas are expiring,” the protestors said.
The Expo Center administration told protestors that only Sinovac and Sinopharm are being administered to people.
In Faisalabad too, people are staging protest over the shortage of coronavirus vaccines in different centers. Several people have also blocked roads outside vaccine centers registering protest over government’s slow response in providing sufficient vaccines.
“We are coming here daily for the last eight days and being denied the vaccines. Our visas are expiring and we are unable to get the jabs,” protestors said.
On the other hand, vaccination process has been restored at all centers of Karachi today after shortage of three days.
