Candidates who failed the road test can retake the test only after 15 days
Lahore: It will be easier than ever for the citizens of Punjab to get a driving license.
Following the orders of Inspector General (IG) Punjab, the candidates who failed the driving test have been provided with great facilities.
City Traffic Officer (CTO) Lahore Ammara Athar said that the candidates who failed the road test will no longer need to wait for 42 days but they can retake the test only after 15 days. Earlier this facility was already availed to the sign test failing candidates.
Ammara Athar further said that the Punjab Motor Vehicle Rules 1969 have been amended keeping in mind the valuable time of the citizens. Now the candidates who fail both the sign test and road test can retake the test after 15 days.
She stated that during the test, videos of road test and sign test of all candidates are saved to ensure transparency and merit in the licensing process.
