Accused Ahsan Shah said in the alleged audio that he has to go abroad within a month


Lahore: The alleged audio of Ameer Balaj Tipu's alleged murder suspect Ahsan Shah before his police encounter has come to light.
According to the media report, Ahsan Shah allegedly called a female friend from jail. In the alleged audio, the accused mentioned the plan to kill a police officer.
Accused Ahsan Shah said in the alleged audio that he has to go abroad within a month, and before leaving he had to do something of the arrester.
In the alleged audio, the woman asked Ahsan Shah that who arrested him, to which he replied that her father's friend from Badami Bagh.
According to the media report, the accused Ahsan Shah arranged a shooter in the jail to kill the police officer.
Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Organised Crime Unit Imran Kishor confirmed that the audio belongs to the accused Ahsan Shah which will also be forensically examined.
According to the prison manual, all inmates are allowed to make phone calls once a week, from phone booths set up in the prison. They can make video calls that are recorded.
