Cabinet approves initiation of negotiations for ML-1 upgradation
Directs to present the final agreement again before it for approval
Islamabad: The federal cabinet on Friday approved the initiation of negotiations between the Chinese and Pakistan Railways regarding the Financial Commitment Agreement for the first phase of ML-1 upgradation.
The meeting was held in Islamabad today with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in the chair. The cabinet directed to present the final agreement again before it for approval.
The Prime Minister took the cabinet into confidence regarding his visit to Quetta. He said the capacity of law enforcement agencies including police and levies is being enhanced.
He expressed the determination to root out the menace of terrorism.
Shehbaz Sharif said the Balochistan government is taking commendable steps to bring the Baloch youth into the national mainstream and their development and prosperity.
