Doha-Philippines flight makes emergency landing at Karachi Airport
187 passengers on board the plane were transferred to the lounge and the plane is being inspected
Karachi: The flight from Doha, Qatar to Angeles City, Philippines has made an emergency landing at Karachi Airport.
According to aviation authorities, flight QR926 was going from Qatar to the Philippines when one of the engines of the Dreamliner plane stopped in Pakistan's airspace.
The spokesperson of Civil Aviation stated that a severe malfunction occurred in the Qatar Airways plane at an altitude of 39,000 feet, but landed safely.
It is also reported that 187 passengers on board the plane were transferred to the lounge and the plane is being inspected.
