As many as 54 cases of dengue have been reported in the last week

Lahore: As many as 10 patients have been admitted to different hospitals in Punjab with symptoms of dengue virus.
According to the Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department, five cases have been reported from Lahore, four from Rawalpindi and 11 from Chakwal.
According to a spokesperson of the provincial health department, as many as 54 cases of dengue have been reported throughout the province in the last week, while 357 cases have been recorded in the current season.
The spokesperson claimed that the health authorities had already made arrangements to counter dengue during the current monsoon spell and sufficient stock was available in all provincial hospitals.
