SP Mustang assured the journalists that the accused would be arrested soon


Mastung: Nisar Ahmad Lahri, an official of Sarawan Press Club and a journalist associated with News Agency Online, was killed by gunmen in Gulkand village in Mastung district of Balochistan.
Sarawan Press Club official and senior journalist Nisar Ahmad Lahri was on the way to his under-construction house in Mastung this morning when he was targeted as a result of which he died on the spot.
The body was shifted to the Civil Hospital and after necessary procedures, he was handed over to the family.
While confirming the initial killing by the police, it was said that it was a land dispute and the police were conducting raids to arrest the accused.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Mustang Abid Bazai assured the journalists that the accused would be arrested soon.
The press club condemned the incident and demanded the arrest of the accused and protection of the journalists.
