Would die in jail’s cell rather than bowing before tyrants: Imran Khan

Rawalpindi: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday said he wouldn’t bow before 'the most powerful' and rather would love to die in a prison cell.

Talking to a group of journalists at Adiala jail, he claimed that the country was fast moving towards a revolution, saying they [people at the helm of affairs] should have awakened after the Feb 8 elections’ silent revolution.

Khan further said that the decision-makers lacked common sense to run the country’s affairs and that he had never seen such stupid decisions. “Bushra Bibi has been languishing in jail for the last seven months or so only so that I could be taught a lesson,” he said.

Khan told a reporter that had PTI not been in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), the province could face a disaster like Baluchistan. "I have never seen such cruelty that is happening today in Balochistan," he maintained. He put his weight behind bodies elections in Balochistan.

Backing Akhtar Mengal, the PTI founder said that the problems had multiplied in Balochistan and the situation was getting out of control.
