The no objection certificate (NOC) has been issued to PTI’s district president, Aamir Mughal


Islamabad: The Islamabad administration on Thursday has conditionally allowed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to hold a rally scheduled on September 8.
The no objection certificate (NOC) has been issued to PTI’s district president, Aamir Mughal, as he had submitted the request to the administration for the rally’s approval.
The administration has outlined at least 41 conditions that PTI must abide by during its rally, which will be held at Paswal Road, Sangjani.
These conditions including; participants must use the specified routes designated by the administration to reach the rally venue and convoys from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will enter Islamabad via the M-1 Motorway at the AWT Interchange, with further travel restrictions beyond Paswal Road.
“Convoys arriving via the GT Road will enter at Burhan Interchange, proceed on the M-1 Motorway, and exit at the AWT Interchange to reach the rally site via Paswal Road,” said the notification, adding that the Punjab convoy will travel via GT Road through Rawat, then use Chak Beli Road, passing through Chakri Interchange and M-2 to reach Paswal Road.
According to the district administration, all other routes to the rally venue from Islamabad will be closed, with residents of Islamabad only allowed to use Margalla Avenue to access the venue.
