Islamabad: Pakistani forces have killed at least eight Afghan Taliban militants in response to an unprovoked attack on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
According to reports, the Afghan Taliban launched an assault with heavy weapons from inside Afghanistan, targeting Pakistani check posts.
Pakistani security forces swiftly retaliated, resulting in the death of eight militants, including key commanders Khalil and Jan Muhammad. Sixteen other Taliban fighters were also injured in the exchange.
This incident highlights ongoing issues with Afghan Taliban aggression and their role in facilitating terrorist attacks against Pakistan.
