Police book PTI leadership in 3 cases for Islamabad public meeting violations
Three cases were registered at Sangjani, Sumbal and Noon police stations
Islamabad: The Islamabad police have booked the PTI leadership in three cases for violating the SOPs of the Sangjani public rally cum meeting.
The police have framed charges of not winding up the public meeting on time, pelting stones at police and violating designated routes.
Three cases were registered at Sangjani police station, Sumbal police station and Noon police station.
Cases have been registered against Zartaj Gull, Aamir Mughal, Shoaib Shaheen, Omar Ayub Khan, Samabial Tahir, Raja Basharat and 28 others.
According to the prosecutor, the police stopped the PTI workers for violating the route, on which the workers attacked the police with stones and sticks. The police conducted shelling and 17 workers were arrested on the spot.
