Multan: Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) MPA Rana Abdul Mannan Sajid, representing PP-272 (Muzaffargarh-v), has been taken into custody after the Lahore High Court (LHC) Multan Bench denied his bail request.
Sajid, who also serves on the Committee on Privilege and Special Education, faces allegations related to a bardana distribution scam and accusations of assault involving the Assistant Commissioner of Muzaffargarh.
The arrest occurred directly within the courtroom as the bail application was rejected, marking a dramatic turn in the case.
Rana Abdul Mannan Sajid is now under judicial custody as the investigation into the alleged irregularities and misconduct continues.
