Judge issued a notice to NAB and directed to inform whether the Toshakhana case is under its jurisdiction or not
Islamabad: Former Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani challenged the jurisdiction of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and the court in the reference of Toshakhana vehicles.
A hearing was held in the Accountability Court Islamabad on the reference of Toshakhana vehicles against President Asif Zardari and former Prime Ministers Nawaz Sharif and Yusuf Raza Gilani. Yusuf Raza challenged the jurisdiction of NAB and the court.
Lawyer Yusuf Raza Gilani said in the court that after the amendments were restored, the jurisdiction of the accountability court and NAB has ended.
Accountability Court judge Abid Sajjad issued a notice to NAB at the request of Yusuf Raza Gilani and directed to inform whether the Toshakhana case is under its jurisdiction or not.
The hearing was adjourned till September 26 regarding the jurisdiction of the accountability court.
