Court approved the bail of the PTI MNAs in all the cases in exchange for Rs30,000 each


Islamabad: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) of Islamabad approved the bail of the arrested Members of the National Assembly (MNAs) of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Monday.
The court approved the bail of the PTI Members of the National Assembly in all the cases in exchange for Rs30,000 each and ordered their immediate release.
ATC Judge Abul Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain heard the bail applications. The prosecutor took the position that MNA Ahmed Chattha was named in the case. The provisions imposed in the case are a minimum sentence of three years and non-bailable.
Judge inquired whether anything was recovered from Sher Afzal Marwat, Ahmed Chattha, and other members of the National Assembly, to which the prosecutor replied that nothing was recovered.
The arrested MNAs of PTI include Sher Afzal Marwat, Sheikh Waqas, Ahmed Chattha, Aamir Dogar, Yusuf Khan, Naeem Ali Shah, Awais Haider Jakhar, Shah Ahad and Zubair Khan. The cases under terrorism provisions have been registered against PTI MNAs in Sangjani, Tarnool, Noon, and Sambal police stations.
