Domki was elected as MPA with a huge majority from PB8 Sibi Kum Lahri


Quetta: Balochistan Local Government Minister Sardar Sarfaraz Chakar Khan Domki Monday passed away in a private hospital in Karachi after a brief illness.
According to the details, in the general elections of 2024, Sardar Mir Sarfraz Chakar Domki was elected as Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) with a huge majority from PB8 Sibi Kum Lahri.
Sardar Sarfraz Domki was the son-in-law of former Governor and Chief Minister of Balochistan Nawab Mohammad Akbar Bugti.
He has been part of the government and opposition at various times and has been the provincial minister of other departments including S&GAD.
After the death of former provincial minister late Sardar Chakar Khan Domki in 2007, Sardar Sarfaraz was elected as chief of the Union Domki tribe.
Chief Minister Balochistan expresses regret
Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti expressed deep sorrow and regret over the death of the provincial minister and said that Sardar Domki was a shrewd and credible politician and tribal figure.
He stated that the deceased always played a positive role in the political and tribal system of Balochistan. He was an active member of the current Balochistan Cabinet.
Sarfaraz Bugti said that he was deeply shocked by the death of Domki and shares with the bereaved family in this hour of grief and sorrow.
Balochistan Government Spokesman Shahid Rind also expressed regret over the death of the provincial minister and said that the deceased always played a positive role in the national unity and development of Balochistan.
Shahid Rind added that due to his demise, Balochistan lost a talented politician and a positive tribal personality.
