Project aims to create a strong system of transparency and accountability in state affairs


Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur inaugurated the 'Ikhtiar Awam Ka' portal.
Ali Amin Gandapur after inaugurating the 'Ikhtiar Awam Ka' portal in Peshawar while talking to the cabinet members said that people are our priority, these things are being done with their tax money.
He stated that if the people get the power then the problems will be solved. The Chief Minister Portal is designed with all things in mind.
Chief Minister added that there is room for improvement everywhere, the portal will show where the tax money is being utilised.
Ali Amin further said that first is reform and then punishment, that is why I say reform yourself. Our priority is the people, we will give awards to whoever shows good performance.
Chief Minister also stated that he has instructed to review the infrastructure in the annexed districts and the concerned officers have been told about the survey. And tell us about the things that are not happening so that we can remedy them. Our main focus is on the merged districts, where no one will be recruited from outside without domicile there.
He continued to say that they are restoring the Jirga system. All the promises made to you will be fulfilled.
Earlier, the cabinet was briefed about the portal that common citizens will be able to file complaints and review various issues online through it. The portal will provide details on public agenda, health, education, law and order, and municipal services.
According to the briefing, details on land revenue, corruption, malpractice and development projects will also be provided. The project aims to create a strong system of transparency and accountability in government affairs.
