Sahiwal: A case has been registered against Jamaat-e-Islami chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman and other leaders for staging a rally without permission.
JI’s Punjab chief Javed Kasuri has also been named in the FIR apart from 80 others.
According to the FIR, the JI had not taken a formal permission before staging any gathering while adding as the district administration was unaware of it. Due to the huge gathering of people, traffic was badly disturbed which affected the daily life of citizens.
