Khan again files against CJP in Practice and Procedure Committee
Petition stated that Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa is biased against PTI and Imran Khan
Islamabad: The founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) again filed an application against Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa in the Practice and Procedure Committee.
According to the details, the stand taken in the petition is that Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa is biased against PTI and Imran Khan. He should not be part of any case related to him and PTI. CJP still considers the reference filed against him as a personal attack.
It has been stated in the petition that Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa's wife has given statements against Imran Khan on several occasions.
It is pertinent to note that the Supreme Court had sent back the first petition of the founder PTI.
On July 26, former Prime Minister Imran Khan approached the Supreme Court and requested Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa not to preside over a bench that would include him, his wife Bushra Bibi, family members, PTI, or hearing cases related to the Sunni Alliance Council (SIC).
