Chief Minister said that China has stood by Pakistan in every hour of need


Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Monday said that China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is not just a project, but a symbol of hope, development and prosperity for the two nations.
Maryam Nawaz attended the 75th National Day ceremony of the People's Republic of China and met the Chinese Consul General Zhao Shiren and congratulated him on the National Day.
Addressing the ceremony, Chief Minister Punjab stated that on behalf of the people of Pakistan, ‘I congratulate the people of China on the National Day of China, and the people of Punjab congratulate the Chinese brothers and sisters’.
She added that along with development, the Chinese nation has also extended the hand of friendship to the world. CPEC is changing the economic scenario of Pakistan, from the power corridor to the hearts of ordinary citizens, China has made a home.
Maryam Nawaz further said that China's greatness lies in its unshakable commitment to peace, cooperation, and the welfare of humanity. We respect the great Chinese nation.
The Chief Minister of Punjab continued to say that China has stood by Pakistan in every hour of need. Pakistan and China are moving forward hand in hand toward a prosperous and peaceful future. China's role in every global crisis is unforgettable.
She also stated that China has emerged as a leader whose vision transcends borders. The bond of Pakistan-China friendship is not merely based on strategic interests, it is a relationship of heart and soul, one of the most important proofs of our common future is CPEC.
The Chinese Consul General in his speech paid tribute to the people-friendly initiatives of the Punjab Chief Minister and mentioned the Nawaz Sharif IT City, Cancer Hospital, Air Ambulance and Apna Chhat Apna Ghar programme.
Chinese Consul General Zhao Shiren further said in his address that the people of Punjab will get real relief from the solar panel program.
