Killed Khawarij were involved in terrorist activities against security forces
Rawalpindi: The security forces killed eight terrorists of Fitna Al-Khawarij in a successful operation in North Waziristan.
According to the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) Department of the Pakistan Army, the security forces conducted an Intelligence-Based Operation (IBO) in the Razmak area of North Waziristan.
During ISPR's Tambaq operation, there was a fierce exchange of fire between the security forces and the Khawarij,. Eight Khawarij were killed in the encounter with the forces, while arms and ammunition were also recovered from the possession of the dead Khawarij.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army, the killed Khawarij were involved in terrorist activities against the security forces and in the targeted killing of innocent civilians.
It is pertinent to note that a few days ago, the security forces had killed 12 Khawarij in an operation in North and South Waziristan, while six officials had also martyred during the operation.
