Railways police spot minor girl who ran away with foreign currency
Railways police Wednesday recovered and handed over a 10-year-old girl to her heirs hours after she ran away from home by taking a hefty amount in a rage.
SSP Railways Malik Atiq told the media that 10-year-old Shagufta Ijaz got angry at home and reached Sialkot railway station with foreign currency worth Rs900,000.
Constable Najam Waqar took the girl into custody and transferred her to the police station. After which the police called the heirs and handed over the girl along with the money.
SSP Malik Atiq announced to award certificates of appreciation and cash prizes to Railways Police Sialkot.
