Three cops injured in blast near police mobile in Bajaur
DSP added that the injured were shifted to Headquarters Hospital Khar
Bajaur: A bomb exploded near a police vehicle in Bajaur district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as a result of which three police officers were injured.
According to the details, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Abdul Aziz said that Station House Officer (SHO) Shahpur Khan and other officials were safe in the blast.
He stated that SHO Shahpur Khan was on a routine patrol when the police vehicle collided with a roadside bomb.
The DSP added that the injured were shifted to Headquarters Hospital Khar, adding that a search operation has been started in the area.
It is pertinent to note that two days ago, a 10-year-old child was killed as a result of an explosives explosion in a garbage dump near Khazana Sugar Mill area of Peshawar when the child picked explosives from the garbage.
Earlier on September 22, a police van guarding a convoy of foreign travelers was targeted in Swat, resulting in at least one officer being martyred and four others injured.
