Leaders vow to stage large protests

Islamabad: After calling off its protest in Rawalpindi on Saturday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has announced to stage protests in Mianwali, Multan and Faisalabad on Oct 2.
Party’s central Secretary Information Sheikh Waqas Akram made this announcement on his video message, posted on X.
“There would be large protests in Multan, Mianwali and Faisalabad on October 2,” he said, asking party workers and supporters to join the upcoming protest as their duty.
He praised party workers and leaders who participated the protest at Liaquat Bagh, “I want to congratulate every PTI leader, worker, and stakeholder who made it to Liaquat Bagh today.”
