Seven Punjabis killed in Panjgur terrorists attack
Hailing from Multan, all were working at a house construction site
Qurtta: At least seven labourers were shot dead, and one was injured in a brutal attack on a house in the Khudaabadan area of Panjgur, Balochistan, on Saturday.
The victims, all from Multan, Punjab, were working at a house construction site when armed men stormed in.
According to district administration, the attackers entered the house where the workers were staying and opened fire without hesitation.
Seven men died instantly, while one, identified as Muhammad Ramzan, son of Allah Yar, was critically injured and taken to a nearby hospital.
The deceased were identified as; Sajid, son of Allah Bux, Fiaz, son of Allah Ditta, Khalid, son of Fida Hussain, Shafeeq, son of Faiz Bux, Iftikhar, son of Iqbal, Salman, son of Fiaz and Bilal, son of Shokat.
Authorities suspect militants from the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) were responsible for the attack.
Security forces have launched a search operation to track down the attackers. "We will crush the ambitions of these anti-state elements backed by foreign forces," said the official.
