Crack on Lahore main road, car, two bikes fall
People trapped in the pit were taken out by installing a ladder
Lahore: A car and two motorcycles got stuck in a crack on the main road in Johar Town, Lahore.
According to the traffic police spokesperson, the pothole was formed on the main road near Shaukat Khanum Hospital in Johar Town, as a result of which a car and two motorcycles fell into it.
The spokesman of the traffic police said that the people got out of the people trapped in the pit by installing a ladder and all of them were safe.
Later, following the orders of the City Traffic Officer (CTO), the vehicle and the motorcycles were taken out by a crane after diverting them from the main boulevard in Johor Town.
The pothole on the road has led to the traffic jam and the rush has increased on other highways for which additional traffic officers have been deployed.
