Zelda’s first time out as a playable character in the lands of Hyrule launched less than a week ago, but you can already get her new game with a modest discount. The physical cartridge version of The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is on sale at Woot for $51.99 ($8 off) through October 4th (or until it sells out, which happened briefly before an unexpected restock).

Zelda’s new solo adventure on Nintendo Switch is already on a small sale
The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom just came out but it’s already $8 off for a physical cartridge version for the Nintendo Switch.

Echoes of Wisdom is quite different from your typical Legend of Zelda game, and not just because it finally centers the character the series is named after. It borrows the chibi miniature-style art design from the Link’s Awakening remake of 2019 but remixes it into a new open world. Instead of relying solely on a sword, Zelda uses her new magical Tri Rod to create copies of objects and monsters across Hyrule for both puzzle-solving and battling.
Echoes’ take on Hyrule may feel a little empty compared to the vastness of Link’s most recent adventures in Tears of the Kingdom, but it’s cool to finally play as Zelda in her own proper game — just like it’s cool to save a few bucks on a newly released title.
