Police have issued notices to traders, hotel and restaurant owners in twin cities

Islamabad: In connection with the preparation for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) conference in Islamabad, it was decided to tighten security in the twin cities i.e. Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
Wedding halls, cafes, restaurants and snooker clubs have been ordered to remain closed from October 12 to 16.
Police have also issued notices to traders, hotel and restaurant owners in the twin cities.
According to the police, legal action will be taken against the violators.
Police have also sought surety bonds from businessmen and hotel owners.
It is pertinent to note that a public holiday has already been announced in the twin cities from October 14 to 16.
