Saudi delegation, President Zardari agree to increase cooperation
Saudi Arabia plans to invest in construction infrastructure and mining sectors of Pakistan
Islamabad: President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari met the Saudi delegation, during which both countries agreed to increase cooperation in various fields.
According to media report, a delegation led by Saudi Investment Minister Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih met with President Asif Ali Zardari.
The President of Pakistan thanked Saudi Arabia for supporting them in every difficult time and said that both brotherly countries should work to build a prosperous and peaceful future for the region and the Islamic world.
Asif Ali Zardari stated that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have long-term and proven relations should be transformed into a long-term strategic and economic partnership.
The President reiterated Pakistan's commitment to unwavering solidarity with Saudi Arabia.
Appreciating the wonderful development of Saudi Arabia under Vision 2030, he said that the development and prosperity of Saudi Arabia are a source of joy and pride for us.
On the other hand, the Saudi minister said that Saudi Arabia has planned to invest in the construction infrastructure and mining sectors of Pakistan.
It is pertinent to note that during the visit to Pakistan, the Saudi delegation will sign 25 agreements worth $2 billion in various fields.
