Ban will be applied from Saturday, October 12 to Monday, October 14

Lahore: Section 144 was immediately implemented in five districts of Punjab because of security threats.
The Home Department also issued a notification for implementation of Section 144.
The Punjab government has imposed Section 144 for three days in five districts including DG Khan, Leh, Muzaffargarh, Rajanpur and Kot Addu. During this time, political gatherings, rallies, protests and all such activities will be banned.
The ban will be applied from Saturday, October 12 to Monday, October 14. The decision to implement Section 144 has been taken at the request of the concerned district administration. Orders have been issued to maintain law and order and protect property.
