Lahore: Punjab flour mills allegedly raised the price of flour by Rs1 per kg, justifying the increase in wheat prices.
Chairman Punjab Flour Mills Association said that the price of wheat has increased by Rs300 in two weeks and the stocks of wheat are running out in the markets.
He stated that the food department cannot control the economy of free markets with illegal notifications. The show cause notices to flour mills should be withdrawn.
