Cop martyred in Bannu firing 

Bannu: An incident of target killing took place in Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in which a policeman was martyred.

According to the police, unidentified motorcyclists opened fire on a policeman near Mandi Bakakhel in Bannu area, as a result of which he died on the spot.

The officer killed in the firing was identified as Head Constable Shaista Khan. The body was shifted to the hospital for post-mortem.

As soon as the incident was reported, the security personnel reached the spot. The police cordoned off the place and started searching for the accused.
