Requests for exemption from attendance were submitted in the court


Islamabad: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Thursday extended the interim bail of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders Zartaj Gul and Aamir Mughal in terrorism cases.
ATC Islamabad Judge Abul Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain heard the cases against Zartaj Gul and Aamir Mughal under the provisions of terrorism in Sangjani Police Station. Sardar Masroof Abbasi Advocate and others appeared in the court on behalf of PTI leaders.
During the hearing, requests for exemption from attendance in the court were submitted on behalf of the accused.
The court granted the plea of immunity from attendance of Zartaj Gul and Aamir Mughal and extended Zartaj’s bail till October 25 and Aamir's interim bail till October 18.
Later, the court adjourned further hearings to future dates.
