Central Power Generation Company fined Rs50 million for violating rules
It will pay penalty to NEPRA within 15 days
Islamabad: National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) has imposed a fine of Rs50 million on the Central Power Generation Company for violating the rules.
In its decision, NEPRA wrote that the Central Power Generation Company acquired the gas booster compressor station from Engro Fertilizer free of charge and transferred it to the Northern Power Generation Company for Rs1.24 billion.
The rules were violated in this sale and purchase process. Central Power Generation Company will pay penalty to NEPRA within 15 days.
