Lahore: The Anti-Terrorism Department arrested seven people including two very dangerous terrorists of Fitna Al-Khawarij while conducting operations in different cities of Punjab.
According to the details, CTD spokesman said that 129 Intelligence-Based Operations (IBOs) were conducted in various cities of Punjab and seven terrorists were arrested.
The spokesman said that the Anti-Terrorism Department of Punjab carried out the operation in Lahore, Bhakkar, Attock, Wehari, Bahawalpur and Jhang, adding that two very dangerous terrorists of Fitna Al-Khawarij were arrested from the provincial capital and Bhakkar along with weapons and explosive materials.
Spokesman CTD stated that explosive materials, arms, IED bombs, two mobile phones, banned pamphlets and cash were also recovered from the terrorists.
It is pertinent to note that on October 5, CTD Punjab arrested 18 terrorists, including three most dangerous of Fitna Al-Khawarij, by conducting 134 IBOs in various cities of the province.
CTD spokesperson said that it was done in the provincial capital Lahore, Khushab, Gujranwala, Pakpattan, Bahawalnagar, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Sheikhupura, Mandi Bahauddin and Mianwali.
