New Zealand won the T20 World Cup title for the first time with a victory of 32 runs


Dubai: New Zealand won the International Cricket Council (ICC) Women's T20 World Cup title for the first time.
In the final of the T20 World Cup played in Dubai, New Zealand's first wicket fell for 16 runs, then Suzy Bates scored 32 runs and Emilia Kerr played a brilliant innings of 43 runs. Brooke Halliday also played an important role in making the team score 158 runs for the loss of five wickets by scoring 38 runs.
South Africa’s Noon Koluleke dismissed two players.
Chasing the target, South Africa's openers gave the team a 51-run start but the first wicket fell and kept falling.
Captain Laura was the leading scorer with 33 runs and the team managed to score 126 runs for nine wickets in the stipulated 20 overs, thus New Zealand won the T20 World Cup title for the first time with a victory of 32 runs.
Emilia Kerr was adjudged player of the tournament and final.
