Srinagar: Following a major security scare, two explosions rocked the Indian Air Force's (IAF) technical airport in Jammu's Satwari early Sunday morning.

As per details, the explosions took place in the early hours of Sunday. The first blast ripped off the roof of a building at 1:37 am while the second one was on the ground at 1:42 am.
One person was killed while two others sustained serious injuries. However, the area was cordoned off by security forces within minutes.
Police along rescue and forensic teams reached the site to ascertain the cause of these blasts.
The official Twitter handle of the Indian Air Force tweeted, “Two low intensity explosions were reported early Sunday morning in the technical area of Jammu Air Force Station”.
It further stated, “One caused minor damage to the roof of a building while the other exploded in an open area. There was no damage to any equipment”.

So far, the cause of the blasts is unknown and is being probed.
As per sources, drones were used to carry out the explosions near the Jammu airbase.
Following the incident, a massive search operation has been launched outside the Air Force station.
