Petition requested the Supreme Court to declare 26th constitutional amendment null and void

Islamabad: Another petition has been filed in the Supreme Court against the 26th constitutional amendment on Saturday.
A new petition against the 26th constitutional amendment has been filed by Advocate Mian Asif under Section 184(3), in which the federal government, the Ministry of Law and the Attorney General have been made parties.
It is requested in the petition that the Supreme Court should declare the 26th constitutional amendment null and void. Parliament cannot make amendments against the independence of the judiciary.
