Senator Dr Sania Nishtar resigned due to taking up a job in an international organisation in Geneva
Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senator Dr Sania Nishtar resigned from the Senate seat.
According to the sources, Senator Dr Sania Nishtar resigned due to taking up a job in an international organisation in Geneva. Sania Nishtar sent her resignation to the Senate Secretariat.
It is pertinent to note that former Prime Minister Imran Khan's special assistant Dr Sania Nishtar was elected senator from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in 2021.
