Two PTI MPs Anwar Zeb and Liaquat Khan are among the prisoners released from Attock Jail


Attock: 86 prisoners of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including two members of the assembly of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) were released from Attock Jail on court orders.
According to the prison administration, most of the released prisoners belong to the government departments of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to jail officials, two PTI MPs Anwar Zeb and Liaquat Khan are among the prisoners released from Attock Jail on court order.
The other released prisoners included 46 officials of Rescue 1122, 25 police officers and 13 municipal officials.
After being granted bail in the D Chowk vandalism case in Islamabad, the accused PTI MPs and others were re-arrested in the attack on the police van near Toll Plaza in Sangjani.
13 policemen including three ASIs of Islamabad Police were suspended for not informing the officers in time about the attack on the prisoner van.
